Wake Me Up (When This Nightmare's Over) by Simple Plan

August 16, 2022

With this new video, the band hopes to raise awareness and funds for those affected by the war in Ukraine. All money generated by Youtube views will go directly to Ukrainian relief efforts, through the UNICEF Ukraine Emergency Appeal. In addition, the group is pledging to donate a portion of the proceeds through The Simple Plan Foundation, from tickets sold throughout the current tour.

“The idea to do this video was sparked by discussions with our good friend and director Jensen Noen. We could feel just how important and personal the events in Ukraine were for him and from there, the concept for the video emerged.”

“It was very special to see all these talented Ukrainians actors, actresses and crew members come together for this cause and create such a moving and emotional music video. We always believed in the power of music and we hope this video can have a positive impact and raise as much money as possible for the people of Ukraine,” says Simple Plan

Could Have Been Me by The Struts

March 22, 2022

Could Have Been Me was written during a time that The Struts were going through a rough patch.  They were being told by their first label to look and sound a different way and they decided no.  They wanted to go their own way and live their life their way.  They didn't want to do something not true to them and look back years later and think, that "Could Have Been Me." It's an anthemic song to being true to yourself.

"Stand" by Dee Snider

March 1, 2022

DEE SNIDER Reveals Heartfelt Music Video for "Stand", Featuring Footage from America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List Documentary

DEE SNIDER says about the "Stand" music video:

"While I didn't write 'Stand' for the Station nightclub fire documentary 'America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List', it is a perfect fit. The full tragedy of that horrific night was the despicable lack of support shown for a community in desperate need. 'Stand' speaks to the importance for us all to recognize these moments of desperation and do something about them. 'Don't leave your mark... leave a scar!'"

"Heavenly" by Karley Scott Collins

February 8, 2022

Sony Music Nashville’s shining newcomer Karley Scott Collins released her debut song, “Heavenly."

“It means everything to me to get my music out into the world. It’s the product of years going through journal after journal and breaking guitar strings,” Karley said. “I’m thrilled that ‘Heavenly’ is the song that will introduce my music to the world.”

Karley wrote “Heavenly” alongside award-winning producer Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Keith Urban). With lyrics like “you make all my demons want a halo” and “you turn my sad songs into hallelujahs,” the track is an evocative ode to love that heals, singing praises to a relationship that overwrites the past. Many of the images Karley sings of are reflected in the cover art, which she hand-painted.

“I think everyone has been through relationships that bring out the worst in you,” Karley said. “‘Heavenly’ is about the relationship that changes everything. It’s what I hope to have one day.”

Whiskey and Rain is the fourth number one single from Michael Ray.  Ray grew up listening to country legends and learned his first guitar chords from his grandfather when he was just 8 years old.  He continues to add his contribution to the genre that he grew up loving.

“I owe this one to the fans who love country music just as much as I do,” shares the Florida-native. “I knew when I first heard this song, it embodied everything I love about country music, and I hoped people would find it as relatable and personal as I do.

“The support for ‘Whiskey And Rain’ has been so overwhelming and exciting,” Ray continues, “I can’t think of a better way to gear up for 2022 than this: celebrating with a song that’s so special to me.”

"The Bones" by Maren Morris

December 28, 2021

"The Bones" became the fourth number one hit for Maren Morris back in February of 2020.  It also marked the first time since 2012 that a single by a Female Country artist spent multiple weeks at number one.  It's a well-deserved place for this amazing song.  This is what Maren Morris had to say about her single.

"It’s a love song that’s very much about strength and vulnerability and knowing that your relationship is perfect in its imperfection and knowing that you can work on things and be in the trenches with someone and building a history with someone is more important than this butterfly feeling. So, I think that that kind of love song is- hopefully will stand the test of time."

Steady Heart by Kameron Marlowe

December 21, 2021

Kameron Marlowe had this to say about his song "Steady Heart"

"My song Steady Heart is, I was really just trying to write a love song. I wrote this with my buddies, Dan Isbell and Jesse Alexander. I had been showing different sides of my music like Burn ‘Em All, which was more fun and up tempo and then something heartbreaking like Giving You Up and Leavin’ To Me, I wanted to show my audience a new side to my songs. And with that, I ended up writing this song called Steady Heart. It’s about finding that person that balances you and accept you as you are. And it’s about finding that person that really just loves you at the end of the day.”

Knowing You by Kenny Chesney

December 7, 2021

Knowing You is the 34th career number one single for Kenny Chesney.  Over his career he has had a lot of great songs but there is something special about this one.  This song deals with loss whether it's a relationship that didn't work, death or any form it takes.

Chesney had this to say about his song “Losing people you care about is always hard,” Chesney offers. “There’s a hole where all that adventure used to be. But if you pause for a moment, remember all the crazy times; the discoveries, moments you shared while sad and laughing... If you take all that in, if you know the person who’s gone brought all that to you; how can you be anything but glad? When you’re sad, it’s so easy to forget... But I worry we lose all the love and beauty in sadness over what’s gone. My hope, throughout the life of this single, has been for people to take this idea and embrace it, embrace that person they loved who’s gone and celebrate every small thing that was part of their relationship.”

Georgia Webster - "Box of Memories"

October 19, 2021

A native of tiny Hampden, MA, Webster grew up listening to a variety of music, from John Mayer and Miley Cyrus to Carrie Underwood, Keane, and the Grateful Dead. She started performing around her hometown while in high school, playing original songs that reflected her pop influence and love for country music. Though she’s young, Webster is an old soul, and her songwriting reflects a depth and mindfulness that was influenced by hours listening to Josh Turner, Tyler Childers and other acclaimed singer/songwriters. Webster then honed her craft by attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music’s songwriter camps, and her natural talent blossomed. Everything changed when, in July 2020, her song “Tell Your Mom” became an instant viral hit on TikTok, amassing more than two million views in just a few days. Georgia’s success on TikTok brought impressive offers from pop and rock record labels out of New York and Los Angeles, but her instincts told her working out of Nashville would allow her to stay true to herself as a singer/songwriter with small-town roots. Georgia teamed up with songwriter/producer Paul DiGiovanni (Sam Hunt, Lauren Alaina, Jordan Davis, Dan + Shay) to create the studio version of “Tell Your Mom,” which retains the acoustic spark of the original TikTok performance. "Wilder Days" by Morgan Wade

October 12, 2021

Arista Nashville acclaimed new aritst Morgan Wade brought her “singular voice” (Country Insider) to country radio as her debut single “Wilder Days” hit airwaves with 41 first week stations adding the song, marking the second largest add week for a debut single in 2021.

Wade co-wrote “Wilder Days,” which was named one of the year’s best releases already by Vulture, with producer Sadler Vaden. Critics have applauded the “polished country-rock gem” (Rolling Stone) with Taste of Country declaring it “a once-in-a-decade debut” that “leaves you a special kind of breathless…This newcomer proves that you don't need to sacrifice depth to get a great hook and strong melody,” as Teen Vogue echoes it “invokes instant driving music nostalgia in the vein of Sharon Van Etten's ‘Seventeen.’”

The track opens Wade’s celebrated debut album Reckless, which has also received year’s-best accolades from American Songwriter, Taste of Country/The Boot, and more. Produced by Vaden and Paul Ebersold, Reckless is an intimate self portrait across 10 songs, three of which Wade wrote completely solo.

The “total Rockstar” (BroBible) recently made waves with her “electrifying” (American Songwriter) Pilgrimage Festival performance and is currently on the road with Lucero on the band’s fall tour. She’ll perform tonight at HI-FI in Indianapolis, IN.

"I Am More" - Madame Mayhem

September 28, 2021

MADAME MAYHEM released her new single "I Am More" to all digital platforms! The single was co-written by Madame Mayhem and Keith Wallen (of Breaking Benjamin).
"I Am More" is very much about self empowerment, standing up for yourself and telling the world not to underestimate you. It's a song that really gives confidence. We are all stronger than we know" says Madame Mayhem.
She adds, "This song is so personal for me. When I perform it, all the frustration, emotion and attitude that flowed through me when writing it comes right back. Writing with Keith Wallen is always a pleasure, and this song came about so seamlessly, it really was like telling a true life story about how I was feeling. Having my mentor Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big, Winery Dogs, Sons of Apollo) playing bass on this track made it even more special and added to the awesomeness of the groove in this song."

Thomas Rhett picked up his 18th career number one single with the title song to his latest album Country Again Side A.

Being able to share this song with fans each night on the road finally and seeing how it’s resonating with them is something I will never take for granted"

July 27, 2021

Todays song is the new video from country trio Restless Road.  "Hometown Tonight" is the third track released by the band under their major label signing with Sony Music Nashville and 1021 Entertainment.

The video introduces us to two characters who are falling for each other and gives us a glimpse into their life before tragedy strikes.  The video for the song will lead us into another video yet to be released for a future song.  This is a great tradition of country songs that have their story lines interact through multi songs and videos to give us a experience and something to look forward to.  You can watch the video for the song on the link and you can also catch Restless Road on tour this year opening up for Kane Brown on the Blessed & Free Tour.

"Drive" by The Wayne Hoskins Band

July 20, 2021

"Drive" by The Wayne Hoskins band is the perfect summer get outside song.  It's perfect for cruising the night, going camping or just listening to around the fire pit with friends on summer nights.

The best time to listen to the song is in the lyrics to the song in my opinion.  "Backroads callin, roll those windows down."

Click the link and give it a listen.  You just might find your new anthem song for the summer.

"Pain" by Royal Bliss

July 13, 2021

Royal Bliss is one of my favorite bands which is no secret to anyone that knows me.  They are a great group of guys and extremely talented, hard working musicians.  They have continued to put music out for over 20 years and Pain is one of my favorite songs by them. Pain is a powerful song which talks about writing our own stories and overcoming things.  Not giving in or backing down.  This is definitely something that this band has done for over 20 years is overcome obstacles.  If you have heard this song before you know exactly how great it is but if you haven't take a listen to it.  You will not be disappointed and you may just find a new anthem for yourself in this song.
