The countdown is on!

 

We’re just one month away from Eastern Oregon’s premier music festival, Rock the Locks Music Festival, returning to Umatilla, Oregon, for three days of live music, bringing together some of the biggest names in rock and up and coming artists for a massive weekend of music, camping and memories. 

 

This year’s festival is taking place from September 25-27th, featuring 25 bands across the three days and two stages, with Godsmack, Simple Plan and Lynyrd Skynyrd headlining the lineup. 

 

Three Days of Non-Stop Rock

 

Friday kicks off the weekend in a major way with Godsmack capping off a day that features Daughtry, Jackyl and Dorothy among others.   

 

Saturday keeps the party going with Simple Plan taking over the main spot.  The Canadian pop-punk rockers bring over two decades of hits to close out a day featuring national acts like Candlebox, Theory of a Deadman, Sevendust and Limberlost and regional favorites like Bombshell Molly and Blue Tattoo. 

 

Then on Sunday the festival closes out with one of the most recognizable names in Rock music closing out the weekend, Lynyrd Skynyrd. 

 

Rock the Locks Continues to Grow

 

Entering its fourth year, Rock the Locks has established itself as a destination rock festival for both fans and musicians alike.  Keeping the tradition of bringing in Swedish rockers to Rock the Locks, this year’s lineup will feature The Cruel Intentions for one of their few U.S. appearances this year, after having featured Swedish rockers Eclipse and Crazy Lixx in the past. With the headliners and international acts, the festivals draw extends beyond the stage, bringing in fans from as far away as Florida making the trek to Oregan for the weekend of music. 

 

With just one month to go until the gates open the wait is almost over.

 

Three days.  Two Stages. Twenty-five bands and a weekend of memories and fun.
