Volbeat Brings The Greatest of All Tours to the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater

July 22, 2025

Last Saturday Evening fans filled the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater for a night of fun, sweat, rock and tears.  Volbeat’s ‘The Greatest of All Tours’ roared into Utah with Special Guests Halestorm and The Ghost Inside. The tour delivered a night full of guitar riffs, drum solos and non-stop energy.

First up on the stage was The Ghost Inside, who braved the heat to kick things off.  The California based Metalcore act wasted no time getting the crowd worked up.  Fans who arrived early were treated to a hard-hitting set, and rivers of sweat courtesy of the sun.  The band set a high bar for the rest of the show as they made the most of their performance, delivering an opening set that won’t soon be forgotten.

Next up was rock mainstays, Halestorm.  The moment Lzzy walked out onto the stage the crowd erupted into cheers giving them on of the loudest greetings I have seen at the venue.  Lzzy’s unmatched stage presence was on full display as she showcased her charisma and reminded everyone why she is one of rock’s most iconic frontwomen. The band ripped through hit after hit with Lzzy never dropping her trademark grin as she strode around the stage.  Not to be outdone the band kept pace delivering a powerful performance and pushing the energy of the night to new heights.

Next came the moment that everyone was waiting for as the lights dimmed and the roar of the crowd welcomed Volbeat to the stage.  From the opening number Volbeat showed that there weren’t holding anything back, kicking things off with their number one hit “A Warriors Call,” followed by two other number one hits “Lola Montez” and “The Devil’s Bleeding Crown.” Vocalist Michael Poulsen led the charge with his signature sound of rockabilly, rock and metal all mixed into one.

Backed by a stage production that elevated the experience with lights and visuals without overtaking the show, the band delivered a performance to remember.  The rest of the set was hit after hit which had the crowd pumping their fists and singing along, culminating with another number one, “Still Counting.”

The night was more than a concert; it was a celebration of rock by one mainstream rock’s elite bands.
