After a month on the road, Five For Fighting and Edwin McCain will bring their 2026 summer co-headlining tour to a close in Layton, Utah, giving Utah fans the chance to witness the final night of a run celebrating two of the most recognizable catalogs in modern adult contemporary music.

The Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling Five For Fighting, led by singer-songwriter John Ondrasik, and multi-platinum artist Edwin McCain have spent June performing for fans across the country. The tour has featured the pair alternating closing sets each night, giving audiences a different experience depending on the city..

“So looking forward to sharing the stage with Ed and his fantastic band while bringing fans back to the future!” Ondrasik said when the tour was announced.

Ondrasik has built a career around heartfelt songwriting, earning a Grammy nomination and producing memorable hits including “Superman (It’s Not Easy),” “100 Years,” “The Riddle,” and “World.”

For this tour, Five For Fighting is backed by an accomplished touring band featuring drummer Randy Cooke (Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr, Dave Stewart), bassist Sean Hurley (John Mayer, Ringo Starr, Alanis Morissette), and guitarist Peter Thorn (Chris Cornell, Melissa Etheridge, Don Henley), bringing decades of world-class experience to the stage.

Joining him is multi-platinum singer-songwriter Edwin McCain, whose timeless hits “I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask for More” remain among the defining songs of the late ’90s and early 2000s. McCain has also introduced his unmistakable voice to a new generation of fans through his appearance as “Nessy” on Season 12 of The Masked Singer.

The Layton performance marks the final stop of the summer tour after a month-long run through the Midwest and western United States. For Utah fans, it offers an opportunity to experience not only a night filled with beloved songs, but also the closing chapter of a tour bringing together two artists whose music has stood the test of time.

Five For Fighting and Edwin McCain perform Wednesday, July 1, at Kenley Amphitheater in Layton, Utah.
