Chris Daughtry has been entertaining fans across the country opening for Disturbed on the Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour. Although Utah wasn’t on the tour, a lucky break in routing gave Salt Lake City something special on May 1st. While the tour had a few days off Daughtry stopped here for a routing headline show at The Complex. For fans of Daughtry in Utah this was a welcome surprise, and they turned out in force to welcome him back to Salt Lake City.
Kicking the night off were local rock favorites, Acacia Ridge, who made the leap from smaller local stages to a bigger venue look effortless. Confident and energetic, the band had no trouble commanding the attention of the early crowd.
