Rising Country and Christian recording artist Anne Wilson graced Salt Lake City with her inspiring presence on the REBEL Tour this past Tuesday, November 12th, at Kingsbury Hall on the University of Utah Campus.  In what was her debut performance in Salt Lake City, Wilson delivered an unforgettable performance full of heartfelt lyrics and unwavering faith, captivating the audience who came to see her.

The “Hey Girl Nation,” as the singers’ fans have come to be known, showed up in full force for her performance, with many of them wearing REBEL T-shirts with clear excitement on their faces.  It was clear to all who were there the connection that the rising star had with her fans as everyone waited for the show to begin.  Wilson’s rise has been fueled by her magnetic charm, heartfelt lyrics and unwavering faith which have helped her music resonate with people, particularly with families and young fans looking for a role model who embodies positivity, authenticity and isn’t afraid to speak about her faith.

Wilson’s Salt Lake City debut was more than just another concert for those who attended, it was a testament to the power of music and faith to connect, heal and inspire everyone to be their true authentic self.  The opening song of the night “REBEL,” was the perfect introduction for the evening as Wilson has spoken about what being a REBEL means, standing up and embracing her faith and not being ashamed in an industry that might try to make you act a different way.

Between songs on the historic stage, Wilson would talk with about her start in music, her journey and what has kept her going, letting everyone know that whatever comes at them, keeping faith even through tragedy and hard times will help lead you through whatever comes at you.  One of the highlights of the evening was when Wilson came down from the stage and walked around the bottom floor of the venue singing and stopping to take pictures with fans and giving them a moving experience during her performance of “Hey Girl.”
